ACHE Middle Tennessee kicked off the 2022 programming calendar with a well-attended deep dive into healthcare analytics, with over 90 registrations! The Strategic Use of Healthcare Analytics Choice Event recognized participants with 1.5 hours of face-to-face credit and occurred on Monday, January 31st. The event was headlined by ACHE Faculty, James Gaston, a Senior Director at Optum, and Chad Konchak, Assistant Vice President at NorthShore University Health System, and included an overview of the event sponsor, 3-D Technology.

Mr. Gaston began the session by orienting the group to the analytics value curve and how organizations move from descriptive analytics to prescriptive analytics. He went on to describe data transformation and the AMAM (Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity) as a roadmap to chart data maturity. Mr. Gaston handed the presentation off to Mr. Konchak who parlayed the data theories into organizational structure and tactics. Mr. Konchak described to the group an enterprise vision for analytics strategy and how his organization, NorthShore University Health System, has approach specific clinical problems using data and analytics. Both faculty members rounded out the event by actively fielding questions from an engaged audience.

Thank you to our faculty, members, guests and sponsor for making the January program a huge success.
