Dear Chapter Colleagues:
Spring is in the air and hope your new year is off to a great start! I am excited and honored to serve as your 2022 Chapter President and continue the great work and foundation set up by the leaders before me. We have an excellent slate of dedicated officers and volunteers committed to fulfilling our mission of creating — learning, networking, leadership and professional development opportunities for our 700+ members in Middle Tennessee. Our Chapter By-Laws and 2022 Strategic Goals are published here.
Our theme for 2022 is to continue delivering value to our Membership and strengthen our partnerships and collaboration with other healthcare associations in Middle Tennessee. I am excited to share that our committees are working tirelessly to resume our in-person events. We have had two successful virtual programming events in January and February that offered F2F credits and are on track to offer 12 F2F education credits this year. Be on the lookout for more information on the Board of Governor’s Prep course, Mentor/Mentee program and in-person networking events shortly. Registration is currently open for Fall 2022 Physician Leadership Academy — our one of a kind virtual program across Tennessee that offers 12 ACHE QEs and 27 CMEs. We are currently seeking referrals and appreciate you spreading the word with a physician friend or colleague (open to non-ACHE members as well).
We are gearing up to kick off our new “ACHE Ambassador Program”. The idea is to identify individuals in companies our Chapter members are at to serve as a liaison between the Chapter and the company and form an internal ACHE community and resource structure within these companies. If you would like to serve as a liaison or know someone that would be good fit for your company, reach out to us at [email protected].
We have received the “Chapter Distinction” and “Sustained Performance” Awards for exceeding the 2021 performance standards set by the National ACHE for which we will be recognized during the 2022 ACHE Congress in Chicago. This achievement during a pandemic year is a testament to our active and engaged chapter members, board and volunteers!
Do you have an idea you would like the Board to explore? Would your company like to be a Sponsor?
Interested in getting involved with the Chapter? Attend one of our Board meetings or even better join one of the Committees — write to us at [email protected].
Thank you for being a member and trusting the Chapter to meet your educational and networking needs. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] or by phone at 901.605.5247.
